Operation Homework is an academic enrichment program, which matches individuals to work one-on one with students. We emphasize homework completion, test preparation, establishment of effective study habits and strengthening academic and social weaknesses

Operation Homework seeks to transform lives by empowering individuals and families with the life skills and support needed to become responsible citizens prepared to succeed in higher education, careers and service to the community.

Programs

Operation Homework first opened its doors in 2005, with 20 K-10 grade students, differentiating itself from regular after school programs by focusing on academics, End of Grade (EOG) test preparation, and research assistance at little to no cost. Since opening its doors, Operation Homework has offered workshops, enrichment activities and community services opportunities for both students and parents.
In 2008, Operation Homework began to focus on the drop-out crisis in our area. A program was set up to meet specific needs in order to address gaps in academic achievement, dropout rates and suspension rates in Stokesdale and the surrounding area. We have five programs to address the issues in our community.
